How do you feel about Christmas? For me, Christmas isn’t the easiest of times and I often find it more stressful than enjoyable. If you tear it down to the basis of what it is meant to be, then the idea and purpose of it is wonderful. To Care and love those around you and give back to the needy. Think of a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. But in this modern world, it has become about who can spend the most money. It has become a status symbol of who can buy the best presents, and how many presents they can buy. It is entirely commercialised. This for me, has completely lost the point. 
I decided to try and give myself a little Christmas spirit, by creating a collection that depicts Christmas Characters that are not the symbols of perfection, but the darker edge of the season. There is only two pieces currently, but it will grow. They will feature either mythical beings or characters from stories.
